At Zero2Six, we believe that every child deserves a strong foundation built on skills that last a lifetime. Our Learner Skills guide everything we do, providing a holistic approach that nurtures not just academic readiness but the whole child — socially, emotionally, physically, and creatively. We recognise that each child is a unique individual, with their own strengths, challenges, personalities, and ways of learning. Our role is not to mould children into who we think they should be, but to discover, celebrate, and nurture who they truly are. Through purposeful play, engaging activities, and a thoughtfully designed curriculum, we help each child grow their gifts, develop their skills, and build confidence in their own journey.    Teachers can then shape and build on that knowledge by discovering what children already know through observation, one-on-one conversation, clarification, and invitation to explore the world around them.

2. Positive Discipline

   Spanking or other methods of corporal punishment are never to be used as a means of disciplining students. This no spanking policy extends to parents with their own children while at school or school sponsored events.

3. Environment is important

   We like to work and play in attractive surroundings so our buildings are clean, relatively tidy, and pleasing to the eye. The outdoor environments are large, have colourful and interesting gardens, and a variety of activities.

Zero2Six opened its doors in 2000 with a clear purpose: to create a childcare centre where the earliest years are celebrated as the most important years. From day one, we set out to build an environment where children feel safe, confident, and inspired to explore. As the years went by, we grew alongside the families we served. With every new generation, we listened, learned, and adapted — refining our methods, evolving our curriculum, and embracing new approaches to meet the changing needs of children and the world around them. Over the past two decades, hundreds of children have begun their journeys with us. Many have gone on to become national athletes, accomplished musicians, and graduates of world-class universities. Their achievements are not only a testament to their talent and hard work, but also to the strong foundations of confidence, curiosity, and resilience built during their earliest years at Zero2Six. Today, while we are proud of these success stories, our focus remains on what matters most: giving every child the chance to discover their strengths, grow in their own way, and carry forward a lifelong love of learning.
